Tour: Bruce T. Halle Library, Eastern Michigan University

On Saturday, February 23, SLA@WSU visited the Bruce T. Halle Library at Eastern Michigan University. The event began with a discussion led by EMU librarians Paula Storm and Elaine Logan focusing on special librarians in an academic setting, followed by job search tips for those interested in special library careers. Next Elaine Logan led the group on a tour of the library, including the children's, reference, and map collections. The tour ended with a demonstration of the library's ARC (Automated Retrieval Collection), a robotic crane that retrieves "in storage" items within minutes. For more information on the Bruce T.
