Tour: Cranbrook Academy of Art Library

On Tuesday, March 25, SLA@WSU visited the Cranbrook Academy of Art Library in Bloomfield Hills, MI. The event began with a discussion led by Library Directory Judy Dyki focusing on the history of Cranbrook, the library’s unique collection, and preparations for an upcoming renovation in 2009. Next Dyki led the group on a tour of the library, including the impressive 19th Century portfolio collection. Dyki graciously answered questions about the collection and careers in an academic art library setting at the end of the tour.
