Membership

All those interested in archives are invited and encouraged to attend SAA-WSU meetings and events. Attendance for some SAA-WSU events may be restricted to official members if the group has received funds to host an event from either its parent organization or from the Wayne State University Student Council.  Nevertheless, we highly recommend that you become official members of the Society of American Archivists and enjoy all the wonderful benefits that come with membership, including  bimonthly issues of SAA's Archival Outlook newsletter, semiannual issues of  SAA's scholarly journal American Archivist, and discounts on SAA publications (including textbooks used in the Archival Administration Graduate Certificate Program at Wayne State).  Currently, the cost for student membership is a mere $40 per year.  To become a member, complete a SAA membership form and send SAA your membership fee and a copy of your student ID (to receive the student membership rate).
