34th Annual MAME Conference
October 24-26, 2007
Grand Traverse Resort & Spa
Acme, MI

"School Library 2.0: Curriculum Collaboration" is the theme for the 2007 conference. The theme
reflects the irreplaceable benefits of a school’s media specialist: technology integration and
collaboration with classroom teachers to build student achievement. Watch for news on
Wednesday's pre-conference offerings. Gary Hartzell is our opening keynote speaker on Thursday
morning. In our closing session, Marcia Mardis will inspire and motivate. Of course
that is not all! In addition we will have wonderful Michigan authors, roundtables,
the MAME membership meeting, sessions on all kinds of topics linked to Michigan
collaboration and technology, and, of course, exhibits! Please start planning now to attend
the annual conference to share and learn.

Volunteer this weekend! MAME is looking for volunteers to help at the conference.
This is another great way to meet people within the media
specialist community. If you can give even two hours of your time, email Karen Becknell at bookwoman@twmi.rr.com. You may
be helping with registration, author book signings, or other areas as needed.
